Paediatric Care from the Comfort of Home

Sometimes, you just need to speak to someone who knows your child’s history. Whether it is a follow-up, a simple question, or a check-in between appointments, our Tele-Consultation service brings expert care to where your child feels safest. That could be your living room, your office, or anywhere you are.
At Joyful Seeds Paediatrics in Bukit Timah, we believe care should be easy to access, especially when your child needs support and you need answers.
What Is Tele-Consultation?
Tele-consultation is a video appointment with one of our paediatricians. It is best suited for non-urgent concerns, post-visit reviews, or questions about your child’s health, development, feeding, or recovery.
If you are unsure whether a tele-consult is right for your child, our team will help you decide. We will always guide you toward the most appropriate care.
What’s Included?
Each session is led by a paediatrician and tailored to your child’s age, medical history, and reason for the consultation. It may include:

General Paediatric Advice
Support for common concerns such as mild fevers, skin rashes, sleep issues, feeding challenges, or behaviour questions.
Follow-Up Reviews
Post-visit check-ins to go over your child’s progress, review test results, or adjust a care plan.
Medication Advice and Prescriptions
For existing patients, we offer guidance on safe medication use and may provide prescriptions if appropriate.
Consultation Summary and Next Steps
You will receive a summary of the call with recommendations, follow-up instructions, or referrals where needed.
Our tele-consults are handled with the same attention and care as in-person appointments.
Guided by Trusted Paediatricians

Your child’s Tele-Consultation is led by Dr Charmaine Teo and Dr Martha Liu, both experienced in providing care in and beyond the clinic setting.
They understand the reality of parenting, where even small concerns can feel urgent and every answer matters. Whether it is your first call or part of ongoing care, they take the time to listen, explain clearly, and guide your decisions with practical advice and calm reassurance.
You will always speak to someone who knows your child’s history and cares about their progress.
Why it Matters
Fits Into Daily Life
A flexible option when travel is difficult or your child needs rest.
Comfortable for Your Child
Some children respond better in familiar surroundings, especially during check-ins.
Continues the Care You Trust
Keeps you connected to your child’s doctor, even when circumstances change.
Reduces Uncertainty
When you are not sure what to do next, it helps to hear from someone who understands.
Support That Comes to You
We know that parenting can be full of unexpected moments, and sometimes, you just need to speak to someone who understands. Whether it’s a mild worry or a check-in between appointments, our Tele-Consultation service is here to offer support, clarity, and care from afar.
While tele-consultations are suitable for many concerns, there are some cases where an in-person visit is the safest and most effective option. When you reach out, our friendly team will help determine whether a tele-consult is right for your child’s needs.
